We have been producing mechanically engraved chromed rollers since 1960 and today we boast the largest facility worldwide dedicated to this type of processing. We market about 6000 rolls every year. Our production equipment is developed and manufactured in-house: we have no size limitations, we engrave lengths up to 7000 mm.
We have been producing mechanically engraved chromed rollers since 1960 and today we boast the largest facility worldwide dedicated to this type of processing, both in terms of machineries and types of substrates that can be processed, marketing about 6000 rolls every year. Our production equipment is developed and manufactured in-house: we have no size limitations, we engrave lengths up to 7000 mm. We use different types of engraving tools, selected according to the characteristics of the geometry to be reproduced and the structure of the roll.
We produce our tools using laser technology, thus overcoming the limits of traditional mechanical and electromechanical engraving. We work on the width/depth ratio of the cells, identifying the optimum to maximize the anilox performance and ensure higher definition. We detect and reproduce every geometry and we develop new ones upon request.

The rigorous selection of raw materials, the in-house management of most of the processing, and the control over the entire production cycle allow us to offer products that perfectly meet the specific requirements of the industries we serve. Our equipment allows us to manufacture and engrave aniloxes without dimensional limitations up to 7000 mm of engraved length.
We have a large number of the construction drawings in our system in order to re-engrave rollers according to the OEM specifications, considering the necessary tolerances for each parameter. Mechanical repairs and workmanlike manner processing ensure that the refurbished roller performs as a new one, also in terms of service life. The incoming inspection data feed the statistics on which our statistics are based.
We propose different solutions to significantly improve the performance of rollers in different conditions of use. Thanks to our wide range of deposition technologies, we supply galvanic coatings such as chrome, nickel and copper; welding coatings such as carbide, stainless steel and alloys; and thermal spray coatings such as wire copper or other materials.
We are leaders in the production and refurbishment of high-quality glue and doctor rollers for corrugated cardboard coupling. We develop customized solutions for the aftermarket service of primary Original Equipment Manufacturers. A wide range of engravings, new on-demand and ad-hoc solutions for optimal product release and reduction of cell clogging problems.
We offer products capable of responding efficiently to the needs of these industries, taking into account the corrosion problems associated with the type of substances to be released. We apply different substrates depending on the materials to be applied. In addition to traditional engravings, we offer new generation mechanical engravings. We detect and reproduce any engraving and develop geometries on demand.
We have specific production lines and tools dedicated to the processing of these cylinders. In addition to the traditional pyramidal and truncated pyramid configurations, we have developed mechanical engravings with geometries similar to those used for laser engraved ceramic rollers to ensure an even better ink release and high definition in printed.
For the users of printing presses with a 3-roll inking system, we propose two types of structures that reduce the problems associated with the use of a copper base: rollers with engravings on steel and on galvanic nickel with different types of cells and up to 220 lines per centimeter.
In response to the frequent requests coming from operators using printing machines with a three-roll system, we have developed a type of mechanical engraving with variable geometries that offers surprising performance. In a dedicated brand-new unit, we use laser technology for the production of engraving tools which enables to overcome the intrinsic limitations of traditional mechanical engravings.
The most renowned converting lines use our rolls for tissue ply-coupling. Our cylinders are engraved directly into galvanic nickel, have an optimal product release and are protected against corrosion. Frequency of cleaning operations is reduced compared to a ceramic roller. A wide range of engraving geometries is offered to meet the different needs of users in this industry.
