CABOLL

Simec Group’s attitude for innovation led to invest in the Research and Development of a new product that promises to revolutionize the anilox market for printing, coating and lamination. A huge investment allowed Simec Group to acquire a 6,500 square meters facility and the state-of-the-art technology needed for the manufacturing and laser engraving of the different CABOLL anilox models which will be used in the several applications served by the company.

Standardisation through SDB Community

Thanks to the combined efforts of the players in the SDB Community that the optimal specifications have been defined, tested, validated and codified. A standardisation aiming at maximising the performance of the OMET XFlex X6 press.

The labels were printed on Fasson HGW PREMIUM FSC, with ASAHI DEF 198Lpi polymers, in four and six-colour with CABOLL OME136 rollers.

EXCELLENT RELEASE CAPACITY

The cells geometry, the width/depth ratio and the special coating of CABOLL guarantee an optimal release of the product from the first printed meter.

DOT DEFINITION

Tests have shown steady dot definition and very high print quality.

INCREASED DENSITY

There is an increase in density for the same lines and volume, if compared to a ceramic roller.

RESISTANCE

The special coating of CABOLL, aeronautical-derived nanopowders applied with supersonic deposition technology, is more resistant to accidental damage than standard ceramic.

EASIER CLEANING

There has been a considerable reduction in the time needed for ordinary cleaning and a simultaneous reduction in deep cleaning cycles.
