The growing application of eco-compatible technology such as PROFIL, the line of dry-cleaning machines for anilox that use sodium bicarbonate, the recycling of all the materials used in the production and the careful prevention of all forms of pollution are the proofs of Simec Group's commitment towards the environment.

The plants are powered by clean and economically advantageous energy, thanks to the installation of 1,500 square meters of solar panels.

Furthermore, the “Go Green Inside” project includes a green area within the production departments: the presence of plants, as well as being representative of the attention to detail that characterizes the everyday life of Simec Group, increases self-esteem and the ability to work both independently and in groups.

The circular economy as a reference model

 

“When one tugs at a single thing in nature, he finds it attached to the rest of the world.” This phrase, coined by the late Scottish naturalist John Muir, illustrates an interconnected regenerative landscape, where every material produced is a nutrient for something else. It is a fitting description of a new economic model: the circular economy.

 

In Simec Group the products are engineered "from the cradle to the cradle", bearing in mind that every end must be a new beginning, under the motto "Reuse, Reduce, Recycle".

 

The R&D office is therefore constantly engaged in presenting solutions that minimize production waste and products that can be brought back through ad hoc and, therefore, reusable processes. Through these measures, the average life cycles of the marketed articles extend considerably over time.
