Deltor T

This product can be considered as the first Anilox roll used for flexoprinting. Its extremely simple structure is still widely employed in the printing industry, especially in the applications where a rubber roller for counter-pressure is used.

The galvanic chromium coating ensures a good resistance to corrosion and to wear, especially on solvent-based applications. As regards water-based applications, the resistance to corrosion is good. There might be particular cases where the characteristics of water from the mains might cause corrosion problems. In such cases, a roll structure of the Deltor N or Deltor R type is recommended.

Engraving is carried out mechanically on carbon steel. The anti-wear protection is ensured by galvanic chromium coating (standard hardness 890 HV), having a layer thickness from 10 to 30 microns.
