Deltor R
This product is largely used in those areas where the roll maker uses an electronic type engraving system.
The structural features involve galvanic copper coating with a layer thickness from 300 to 1000 microns.
After copper plating and grinding, the roll is engraved by Simec using the conventional mechanical system by tool. The possible screens are listed in the technical data sheets for mechanical engravings.
The use of this item is recommended either when the rolls to be refurbished have already a copper substrate or when the rolls need diameter re-building. It is also used on applications where accidental damage is not the primary reason for the replacement of the roll.
This type of roll is frequently used for spreading, but in such cases Simec prefers suggesting the Deltor N structure.
