This product has been manufactured for years and is used in the field of spreading and coating.
Its structural features involve a galvanic nickel coating both in the horizontal and in the vertical sense according to the roll size. The thickness may vary from 300 to 1000 microns.
The nickel having a hardness between 200 and 300 HV will then be engraved mechanically according to the customer’s requirements and then protected by a catalysed galvanic chromium coating having a hardness of over 1000 HV.
The manufacturing process involves special operations of polishing and previous run-in, which are necessary to ensure an excellent emptying of the cells and a constant product release in grams from the first meter of material produced.
