Mechanically engraved rolls are considered historical products of the company. In 1960 following the development of new flexographic printing systems and the first coating applications by roll, the founder of the company seized business opportunity and invested in the creation of a whole range of engravings still in use today, and even forecasted the coming need to utilize screen rulings up to 220 lines/cm. which was unthinkable at the time.

Since then Simec has continued not only to expand its range of engraving configurations but has also designed and manufactured all machinery used for the production of this type of rollers. Due to the variety of applications, Simec also developed different substrates and is now in a position to supply a wide range of rollers suited for any production need.

Thanks to the wide range of engravings and the volume of rollers produced, nowadays Simec is probably the company offering the highest production potential.
