In the last 5 years Simec has invested over 5 million Euros in equipments and know-how in the field of Embossing: three production sites in Italy are dedicated to this particular product and each of them is adequately structured and dimensioned to the type of rollers to be processed.
The market of embossing requires specific structures and equipments capable of handling both small rollers and big rollers with diameters of over 1000 mm., lengths over 7000 mm and weight exceeding 20 tons.
Modern embossing also requires the use of specific and sophisticated equipments, lasers for the scanning of the products to be reproduced, software for 3D management and a variety of machineries able to work with different processes (in many case combined together) and equipments the removal of shavings or of varnish by laser or for direct engraving; we are equipped with chemical corrosion lines, equipments for machine.
